Congratulations Armando and Lindsay!

Armando is a guy that’s full of surprises.  On their wedding day, he surprised Lindsay with a gorgeous necklace, and then not one, but two, beautiful wedding bands!  It was yet another demonstration of the sweet love that they share.  Thank you Lindsay and Armando for including me in your beautiful day!  I hope your post-wedding stay-cation was fabulous!

It’s A…?

This September, Veronica and Joe will be welcoming a sweet baby into their family.  What a fabulous way to celebrate their first anniversary!  There are so many exciting moments leading up to a baby – the positive test, the first kicks, even the sickness at the beginning….well, maybe not the sickness.  But one of the most exciting moments is finding out the answer to the big question: boy or girl?  Veronica and Joe made this moment into a documented memory that they’ll never forget.  They had their doctor put the results in an envelope, which they took to a party store.  The store filled a box with the appropriately colored balloons, and then we met at a beautiful location for the big reveal.  Veronica and Joe opened the box together, and out flew pink balloons — It’s a GIRL!!!  It was such a joy to be a part of such a special moment!  I can’t wait to meet their sweet baby this fall!

Miss Izzy and her Pinecones

My little miss is growing up so quickly!  18 months already!  While on a walk with my dad, she became delighted with all of the pinecones around, picking them all up and handing them to him.  Within minutes his pockets were completely full, but she continued to point at every one she came across, and wouldn’t move until that one too was added to the collection.  She is my little ray of sunshine (even if her well-deserved nickname is the Monster)!

Armando & Lindsay – Engaged!

Lindsay has a bit of a thing for shoes.  It’s an obsession that I can certainly identify with.  And when a new pair of boots shows up in her closet, Armando just shakes his head.  Because, truth be told, he’s a shoe fan too.  So we set off to create a shoot that showed off some of those fabulous shoes….and their awesome work-out clothes….and their prowess at push-ups (no girly push-ups for Lindsay!).  And since Lindsay’s wish for snow didn’t quite come true, we made it happen with marshmallows.  Congrats Armando and Lindsay!

Sweet Treat: Spotlight of Isabelle Kline Design

Yay for Monday!  And Happy Martin Luther King Day to everyone!  I’m so excited about today’s Sweet Treat!  I get to tell you all about a fantastically talented lady, who also happens to be a great friend!  Oh, and I should mention, I can’t take credit for any of the beautiful pictures in today’s feature, as they were all shot by other people.

Isabelle, pictured above (black shirt, to the left of Ryan Seacrest), is a wedding veteran, having been in the industry for over twelve years.  She began with stationery, and expanded her business, Taylor Made, to include fabulous event and floral design.  She planned events at some of California’s best venues, including Pelican Hill Resort and Montage Laguna Beach, as well as an amazing “Hollywood” themed wedding in a lot at Universal Studios.  And if you’ve ever watched MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16”, you may have seen her work.

But in 2008, Isabelle met a wonderful man, who she married and followed to our great state of Colorado.  In 2010 she opened “Isabelle Kline Design” and is now bringing her beautiful designs to Colorado brides.  Whether you need amazing floral arrangements, or a skilled planner to get all of the details perfect, Isabelle is the absolute best.  Her work can be as grand as an elegant wedding in a hotel ballroom, or as sweet and simple as a pretty bouquet.
